Brownies are a famous chocolate dessert, which begins every morning in Europe. I repeatedly cooked brownies and I always use this recipe, the recipe my grandfather left for me.

Ingredients:

Sugar — 200 g,
Butter — 180 g,
Dark chocolate — 100 g,
Flour — 100 g,
Orange zest — 1 orange,
Egg — 4 pcs,
Walnut — 100 g

Melt butter and chocolate above a water bath.

Beat eggs with sugar to a thick foam.

Add flour to the chocolate mass and mix the mass, then add beaten eggs with sugar and orange zest, gently mixing with a spatula.

While gently mixing the mass, add chopped walnuts.

Take a rectangular baking case and pour the obtained mass into it. Then put the case in the oven, preheated up to 200 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes. The cake readiness can be tested with a wooden stick – it should contain slightly damp dough on it after being pulled out of the cake.

Remove the case from oven and let it cool.

When brownies cake is cooled, cover in with chocolate curd and sprinkle with nuts.

Alternatively, you can use ice-cream drizzled with caramel syrup for serving.

You can also make individual cupcakes, using small baking cups instead of a rectangular baking case. Brownies cupcakes can be decorated with cream and berries.
