Napoleon cake recipe
Ingredients:Yeastless puff pastry — 1 pack,
Powdered sugar — 100 g,
Jam (crimson or cranberry) — 1 jar,
Whipped cream — 150 g,
Custard — 300 g
1First, we roll the dough a little with a rolling pin to make it thinner and pierce it with a fork – so the dough does not rise too high. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
2Lay on a baking pan and put into the oven, preheated up to 220 degrees – until the dough has a golden colour (for about 15 – 20 minutes). Take the pan out of the oven and let it cool. Then take a knife and level the crusts. At the same time, mix the custard with the whipped cream.
3Grease the first crust (only the first one) with jam.
4Then we put a layer of cream, then – another crust, grease it with the cream and we repeat doing it a few times until we have 3 or 4 layers.
5At the end, we take the crust, crush it and sprinkle the top of the cake with crumbs.
6Before serving, sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar and decorate it with berries.
